Austrian Winter Peas are a great cool season legume crop for wildlife food plots, cover crops and winter grazing. Plant winter peas with a clover mix for a perfect fall / winter plot.

Plant in Fall at least 4-6 weeks before frost. Can be planted in early spring. Mid March - April

Lugume which fixes Nitrogen into the soil from 150-300 pounds per acre.

Planting Depth: 1/2 to 1 inch

Planting Rate: 2.5 Pounds per 1000 sq/ft for small area. 

Broadcast Rate: General planting 75 to 100 lbs. per acre. Cover Crop: 100 to 150 lbs. per acre.

Drill Rate: 50 to 70 lbs. per acre.
